This long-term documentary project captures the technical reality and rigorous demands of a full season in Piteå, Sweden, working with Piteå Sleddog Tours. Operating as both a musher and handler, I followed a unique narrative thread over a six-month period, charting the evolution of a working kennel of 65 racing Siberian Huskies. From the intense dryland training sessions in autumn to the peak of the winter tourist season, and through the extreme conditions of the Tobacco Trail race, V.I.P. Dogwear equipment was our daily standard. This reportage puts two of the brand’s flagship models to the ultimate test: the V.I.P. R-harness Turquoise and the V.I.P. Stick Harness, documented in the raw truth of their operational use.

My photographic approach moves past traditional commercial imagery to deliver a genuine proof of performance over time. Utilizing the precision of my Sony A7III and Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 setup, I captured the material endurance, wear resistance, and canine biomechanics under constant tension and freezing temperatures. This extensive documentation provides a high-value strategic image bank for V.I.P. Dogwear, giving professionals and gear enthusiasts the undeniable visual reassurance of equipment proven day after day by a team of elite canine athletes.
