This long-term personal project documents the technical reality and rigorous demands of a full season in Piteå, Sweden, at Piteå Sleddog Tours. Hired as a musher and handler, I followed a single narrative thread over six months, charting the evolution of a working kennel of 65 racing Siberian Huskies. From the dryland training sessions in autumn to the peak of the winter tourist season, and through the extreme conditions of the Tobacco Trail race, V.I.P. Dogwear equipment was our daily standard. Two models were in constant use on the team, the V.I.P. R-harness Turquoise and the V.I.P. Stick Harness, and I documented them in the raw truth of their operational use.

My approach here moves past traditional commercial imagery. Using a Sony A7III with a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8, I photographed material endurance, wear resistance and canine biomechanics under constant tension and freezing temperatures. The result is a body of work built day after day alongside a team of canine athletes, produced on my own initiative and offered to professionals and gear enthusiasts as visual proof of equipment tested over a full season.
